Tips on Taking photos for Houses

If you want to work for a mortgage or a real estate company, then taking good pictures of the house is one of the most important part. Obviously, a photo is a tool with which a real estate company use to make potential buyer feel curious and interested.

Many real estate website make a good and professional-look images as their requirement. They usually require the photos in jpeg formats. For this matter, you don’t have to spend a lot of money to buy a camera. You can use a mere 3-4 mega pixel camera. It’s sufficient already. You see, the images on the internet are usually on 72 DPI resolution only. So making a picture huge is really not an option. The standard size is usually 480 x 320. You don’t need to use high shutter speed as well as high resolution with SLR. As for the photo editor, you also don’t need to have the most fancy one. MS Digital Pro Photo Editor will do just great.

Once you have the camera, then it’s time to take the pictures. For making a good photo, you must choose the right time of the day. Some expert suggest overcast day is the most appropriate one. You don’t want your image get overexposed with lots of sunshine in a bright day. Therefore, early morning time and evening time is the best option. Don’t forget not to take the photo from the front side if the sunlight is coming from your back. And also make sure you take the photo from different angles to help exposing all the features.
